Captain America first appeared in Captain America Comics #1 in March 1941 and was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Over the years, Captain America (aka Steve Rogers) has been included in several other forms of media, including movies, TV shows, and video games. Most notably, Captain America joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2011, with Chris Evans playing the iconic superhero.
